Concert “Lost Paradise”

20th of July at 10 PM , Bauska Castle

Saturday, 20th July at 10 PM the Bauska Castle courtyard is going to host “Lost Paradise”, a concert that’s a part of the Music and Art Festival of Courland and Semigallia Dukes Ketlers’ Time „Vivat Curlandia!”.

Christopher Columbus, the legendary seafarer, is known to everyone. October 12, 1492, the day when, under the Spanish flag, he set foot in the New World. The discovery of America is, without a doubt, one of the most striking and impactful events in the history of the world.

Through dance, music and theatrics, the concert “Lost Paradise” is going to take its viewers along with Christopher Columbus to relive the story of the discovery of the New World.

Performers: Bauska Castle's early dance group “Galms”, early music ensemble „Trakula” un Vecumnieki Music and Arts School's children and youth choir "Via Stella". 

Early dances consultant Hazel Dennison (England) and music consultant Tamsin Lewis (England) .
