Visitors of the Bauska Castle Museum will have the opportunity to experience the 15th century and late 16th century. Learn to dance and find out how Christmas was celebrated more than 500 years ago.

"The Christmas Ball in Livonia" was held at Bauska Castle for the first time in 2012. The event is part of the School of Ancient Lifestyle, which has been held at the Bauska Castle Museum since 2010. During the event, visitors have the opportunity to learn various ancient craft skills and gain insight into the lifestyle, domestic culture, science and discoveries of the period from late 15th till 17th century.
